Yes that is a good carrer and it's not a waste of time, you have
to be passionate about what you do though so if you arent 1000%
into it dont do it and find something you're into

Nursing seems far more in demand and wont go away. Medical help
will always be needed. Art is rather personal and looked upon as
frivolous. It gets little respect in school unless an art
school. But, I know I still want to be some sort of famous
artist. But it seems my brain is genius and my hands are a weak
apprentice. I am not sure the background and whatnot matter as
much as your talents. Art comes from within. Not some class
which may only teach you tested techniques and other people's
styles. Although, most art jobs seem to want you to know these
PC basics lately...but I am afraid most jobs I see are just for
ppl to make pamphlets and what not...not very creative. Sounds
more like "I want someone to make advertisements for me
which are very plain but colorful and eyecatching--no independent
thoughts--for my business"...not my dream.
