Thoughts
I must say, The University of Alabama never ceases to amaze me. After all, the teachers here are simply amazing. They are all so nice and caring. Wait...what? Oh, that's right...I was being sarcastic. ARE THEY SERIOUS?!?! I'm not going to act like all the teachers here are heartless, life-sucking leaches. I have had a couple of teachers that actually care if I live or die. I might be exaggerating a tiny bit, but I feel as though a teacher who gives no instruction except, "Write a paper," should NOT be allowed to instruct our nation's youth.
Okay, now that I have vented a little bit of my frustration with my English professor, I think I will comment on the weather. Today's weather was amazing; the sky was a clear blue and the clouds accented the color even more. The temperature was just right. I wore jeans, a short sleeved shirt, and a light jacket today. The weather was very accomodating today. I saw people wearing shorts, long sleeves, jackets, and sweat shirts. I must say, though, I was a little disappointed that it didn't rain for once. Today was one of those days where I needed to see something funny to pick me up. I ALWAYS see something funny/ridiculous/tacky when it is raining. For example, I know everyone has seen these sorority girls wearing those hideous rain boots. Don't get me wrong, the boots are practical, but come on! Wearing tights tucked into the boots while accenting your apparel with a huge, baggy shirt that you wore to sleep is not cute. I'm sorry. Please do not yell at me over this. I simply feel that people who wear this ridiculous outfit need a mirror. After all, the Housing Administration here at UA does allow mirrors in the dorms. SHOCKER!
For lunch, I ate a salad. It was nothing special but it did get the job done. I also enjoyed half a slice of pizza. I must say that the pizza was not good. It tasted like greasy rubber covered with runny tomato sauce. So, lunch was a failure for me today. However, I am thinking that Domino's could pick me up for dinner; that is, if my call will ever go through! WTF? What is wrong with my phone!?!
It is now 7:55 PM and I am hoping that the rest of the night will show some sort of promise for a better tomorrow. "The time for change has come!" And yes, Barack Obama has made an appearance into my blog. For now, all I have to say about Mr. Obama is this: "SHUT UP!"
My next post will undoubtedly be about the presidential race.
