I am the walrus....coo coo cachoo.
We all have heroes. Some have parents. Some of us have fictional characters that have impacted us enough to influence us to the point that these "heroes" change our lives. What is a "hero"? What makes a hero? Is it the fact that these people do something amazing ? Or is it the simple way that people live their lives? To be honest, a hero is someone that does something that seems impossible. That is the definition of a hero to me. My brother, Drew, joined the Army last summer. He is an MP in the United States Army. Next Winter, January 2009, Drew and the rest of his brothers, will be deployed to Iraq. I cannot remember the name of the base that he will be stationed. Maybe that is because he will be in the dunecoon capitol of the world.
Anger...
That seems to be the only emotion I have left.
I am a stranger to the rest of "my" world. What is this place? Why AM i here?
I look around and I see everyone looking for a partner. ALL I see is the world that my brothers are giving their lives to protect. With every drink and with every party I feel like less of a man. The world has a grip on me and no one else knows the effect it has on me. Anger. FiGHT!
As I watch CNN and MSN, I feel like I am the one that was torn apart by the IED and I am the one that is looking for a reason to live in the US. I enter the world eache day with an attitude that makes me want to fight everyone who has an antagoinistic view of the American view. To me, although it may be wrong, the Republican stand is the ONLY way that America will survive. As if I have any exprtice about this issue. All I know is that every day, I want to KILL an Arab. I WANT to hurt EVERYONE that has a negative view of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. This is MY home. Damn anyone who tries to weaken it with liberalism. Damn anyone who sickens this country with skepticism. Don't get me wrong, I have been a skeptic. I too have questioned, "Is America right?"
