Day 2 on Sunday afternoon - gosh I hate going out in the afternoon - too hot. I hate perspiring before entering the classroom.
Today I took the LRT (Light Rail Transit) so my family could have the comfort of the car. Reached there with an hour to spare so I went to a stall to have a cool drink. Good move cos a classmate came by and joined me and we got acquainted pretty fast. Found out we had a lot in common and were just chatting away. He had been in Australia for 4-5 years but had to come back here as his parent were quite old and being the only child had to support them with his not-doing-so-well business. Hope this course will give him an edge.
Today's 4.5 hrs lesson was more theoritical but easier to understand. But I can't help the feeling of being small when I see 2 or 3 other mates giving more creative ideas than me. Then again I guess some people know some of the things and no one knows everything, and not everyone knows the same stuff. Again, like day one, I couldn't help it but to combat another round of sleepiness, just hope the lecturer didn't spot me in that silly situation!
I was much relieved when the lecturer gave us some reading to do to prepare for next weekend classes, so I'll be more prepared. When I reached home that evening I thought I'd give myself a break and start reading from Monday onwards. Don't wanna give my rusty brain the shove.
In summary, I'm starting to feel a little less intimidated and a little more hopeful though I know it's going to be tough doing the assignment. I should feel a lot better after indulging in the reading, that's what the lecturer assured. Well, here's to a better future : )
