 A Voiceless Voice
Words are in essence the voice for the voiceless. Those who dont have the speech of a Martin Luther King, or the actions of a Mother Teresa. However words can have just as strong of an influence on humanity then speech or action. You dont need to stand in fornt of thousands or nurse the hungry and weak to leave a mark on this world. Words give power to those who can't compensate for being activist or vocalist. Words are subtle, they lie low waiting patiently to be seen by those who need to see them the most, but for those who cant hear Martin Luther King's words, for those who can't feel Mother Teresa's touch, for those that are deaf and have lost touch there is the sight of words. Words can transpire to greatness, they can restart the beating of a beatless heart, they can put air into those who are short of breath, they can give strength to those who are worn down. Words ring like that of a churchbell, echoing a solemn song to all those around it, sending out a message that gives meaning to all those who stop for a breif hiatus to hear its melodic, rythmic tone. Words inspire people to rise above all obstacles so that their footprints will be left concretetly into the path of life to which we all walk. Words are the voiceless voice that stampedes across the heart of some and allows them to do great things, allows them to become a Martin Luther King, a Mother Teresa. So for those who have no tounge for those who have no hands, Words can become the next footprint dabbed eternally into the path of life. So forever the bells will ring and forever a voiceless voice will sway with the winds and be heard by those who stop and pause to hear its glorious song.

completely agree...how much pleasure can be found in shakepeares words, in the lyrics of songs as much as the song itself..

words are absolutely a powerful tool...and example...say there was someone on here who was down and depressed, then they read a post that gives them hope, inspiration even? maybe it will change how they think...small scale example, but an example none the less. great post x
