| When is it time to slow down?

I'm working on it...how to slow down.
I made a list of the things I'm doing in life and it turns out, being a mom is the number one thing I'm doing.
Now that is not a bad thing, not at all. Being a mom to my 2 adorable children is the most important thing to me.
I can remember only two times I have missed a swimming lesson, a practice, or a game. Sure, I may have had to come later or leave early, but for the most part I have been there.
It is important to me to be there.
But what about me, as a person?
Scrapbooking? reading? walking? writing?
Those things that I love.
When do I get to do those things?
Or is it time to put those things on the back burner as I try to be the best mom I can be?
I don't know really.
But I do know that this week I was supposed to be an event at church that I knew was just another thing to put on that plate and I said no.
I have caught wind that I will be asked to play softball again, and I don't know what to say to that.
I have quit volunteering for every commitee at school (so instead they just put me on them without asking.)
So, my reason real question is, when is it time to slow down. Do I take out those things that I want to do (things just for me) and enjoy the time that I'm making just for them?
When is it time to slow down?
