I work and work and work some more.
She says great job, but you need to do some more.
I tell her I'm trying and she says she understands,
but what she doesn't say is I have to do it again.
I'm getting transfered because she can no longer "help."
I've asked too much or cried too much or complained too much?
Or is she the one who needs the help?
The "ums', "do you know what I mean", and hair behind her ear over and over is something I won't miss.
but believing I was worth the challenge was something I thought she was up for,
but apparently even she cannot handle me.
Reframing the negative, to something totally positive is my challenge for the week.
So here's my re-frame...I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like me.
