 Questioning the mistakes
I know we all live with regret, but there is one moment in my life that I regret more than any other time.  Maybe someday I will have something else I regret as much (I sure hope not) but its always a possibility.  Messing up is a part of life.

However, my thought today is, what happens if my children ever get into that same situation?  What in the world would I ever tell them that would make sense whatsoever?  If they come home and tell me they too have made a terrible mistake, what will I ever tell them that will make the world a better place?

Maybe I could do the one thing my family couldn't that would make all the difference,  I could talk to my children about the mistakes long before 13 years have passed, in therapy, and on anti-depressent drugs.  Maybe that is the one thing I can give my children throughout the mistakes in life...a shoulder to cry on?
