I sit on the step as my dog lies beside me. Her red leash complains as it is used for the first time this morning. The cool breeze was brushing across my cheek as I watched the sunrise dance among the trees bouncing off the dew like the sparkle of a million little diamonds.
I took in a very large and very deep breath, taking in the smell of the world around me. The freshness of the morning was like clothes right out of the dryer. Like a warm blanket that you couldn't wait to curl up in. Like the moment you knew that first kiss was coming. Or the anticipation of that job interview you knew was aced.
It was one of those moments that everything felt possible. That the day could be more than the previous.
I took another deep breath and listened closely to the earth as it was turning only for me at that moment. I could hear the sounds of motors running, birds chirping, and a dog barking somewhere off in the distant that has peaked the interest of my dog. Inside the sound of my children are growing louder as their growling tummies are acting on impulse.
I need to escape my moment of pleasure and rejoin life inside the house. I can't wait to enjoy my morning again tomorrow.

I'm new at this perticular website,
but I love journaling and writing.
I also enjoy reading people's writing.
I was looking at blog entries from random people
and yours caught my eye on the home page.
So, I read it
and I read you're profile.
I am only fifteen years old,
but I think it's amazing that a mom and a teacher
has the time to write in a blog
in such detail.
Writing like yours, I find inspiring.
