So, with a little bit of sleep last night with an interruption by both children about every 2 hours I woke up in a bit of a tired mood...again!
My children were in a feisty mood this morning which always makes for an interesting day! However, when I got to work I had the surprise of a lifetime. I've been asked by someone close if they can publish one of my poems. How cool is that? I never realized that anyone would care enough about them to even decide it would be worth publishing, as I just give them as gifts to people...or leave them here on thoughts. I was totally floored! We'll see what happens as the days continue.
As the day went on I was getting more and more tired and I can tell you that was things started to get a little harder to deal with. The pressures at work, my kids arguing, the dinner that didn't go quite right, and grocery shopping with kids,
However, the night ended with a peaceful fire in the backyard with the family. We all chatted about our good and bads for the day. I hope this night was something our kids will not forget for a long time.
The tension I feel is still there, but I have some very good moments today and I hope these moments are the ones I treasure for today.
