Having trouble trying to sleep
With the concert going on in my daughter's room
And the excitement of football in my husband's voice.
My son is peacefully resting and I am jealous
As I wish I could be there too.

Today could hold a wealth of enjoyment
As a babysitter is in order
For a wedding and reception will be in my future
A football game on tv
Possibly some time with friends
And of course my favorite thing of all...shopping.

But all these things will have to wait
At least until the sun comes up!
