How tired can one parent be?
How tired am i?

My daughter had her tonsils removed a week ago tomorrow.  Since then she has either slept with me or woke me up every night as she cried out in pain.

At dinner tonight I asked my husband if our daughter slept through the whole night because i think i got up with her last night, but i couldn't remember for sure.

He thought that I got up with her, but he also couldn't remember.  In his "dream" he thought I told him about getting up with her, but wasn't sure if it was last night or the night before.

I got up at 6:30 to get ready for work and she slept  until 8:20.  So if I did get up with her last night at 2:00 AM (which I think I did.)  and she slept until 8:20...she slept over 6 hours in a row.  In her whole life, i don't think she has ever slept that long.

It took 4 and a half years...but I can actually believe there might be a time in my future where i can honestly say my daughter slept through the night...every night...

until then...how tired can i really get...when I can't even remember what happened in the middle of the night?
