Do you ever feel like you are always being stepped on?
That someone always has the upper hand,
and it's not me.
I don't know if i'm letting her run my life or if i'm running it anymore.
i hide, i close in, i don't let them know.
And yet they are always there, taking their little piece.
No matter how fun the moment, that other person is there
Spreading her light, trying to show us the better way.
But will she ever go away?
Or continue to step on me
Until i cannot see anything anymore.
