| Bonus money=Nintendo DS for me!

You would think that wIalready had the stimulus money the way I've spent money this weekend...
After months and months of watching sales I finally bought myself a Nintendo DS. (Actually in the last 2 days, i bought 2...but i'll get to that)
I got a little extra bonus on my last paycheck and decided that i could either pay off some bills (which sounds terribly boring) or buy the DS. Guess what I chose? However, when I went to the store, they only had red or blue..oh well. Red it is. I had the thing opened even on the drive home I was so excited about it. I played for about an hour last night and first thing I could this morning.
After some other "have to dos" today, I stopped at a store, mainly to buy a new game but there it was...the pink one I really wanted. So, i opted to buy that one and give the red on to my husband. I was even MORE excited about it now that I had the one i really wanted. I bought 2 new games and a cute little carrying purse for myself. (which my daughter has now claimed as her own)
Now, the new trick is how much my 6 year old wants one. he keeps thinking that when we get bored with it he will get it. Since it took me this long to get one, I don't think bored is the word I would use...maybe when he's 20 he can have it.
Until then, i think i like these bonus checks!
