Mmmm...if you have never used the public transport for long journeys, you may not have experienced this particular problem. Unfortunately, I do. I travel to and fro from work on an hour long bus ride either way. Sometimes , it just isn't possible to keep my eyes open. Especially after a grilling 32 hour shift !! I have had the indignity of having my entire bag and contents roll on to the aisle while I nodded off. I have dropped drinks, books, papers...you name it. Living in UK, I freeze under the withering looks of fellow travellers who probably assume I am drunk. Well, but more than the clatter my belongings make, its the deafening silence of disapproval that terrorises me. But worse, oh a lot lot worse, is when I nod off and wake up with a slug trail of drool over my face!! I cringe even now... What Do I Do to prevent this indignity? (apart from sticking pins under my eyelids or wearing a stocking round my face). Any ideas.....?!?

a few years back, i had a teacher who, when we had compulsary chapel, sit at the back of the chapel with big sunnies on and sleep, wont help the drooling but its just a thought...
