 A Beytrayal of America
How stupid can these people be? With our economy in such dire straights our leaders lie to the American people telling them the government needs to spend over a trillion dollars to “stimulate” the economy. The LAST thing you need is to spend even more money. The idiots that got us into this are the same idiots giving Obama this brilliant advice. Add to that all his Democratic cronies have added billions of dollars for their personal pork projects. You have to understand they do not want to STIMULATE the economy…they want to RESHAPE our country into a socialistic state. Tell me how 150 million dollars to the National Endowment of the Arts is essential to put our economy on track…how about 15 billion on Pell Grants, 3.5 billion in health research, 30 billion for Highway construction,  380 million for a rainy day fund for WIC, 40 million to convert health statistics systems to an electronic system, 345 million for Agricultural Department Computers, 20 million to re-sod the Washington Mall, 650 million on TV converter boxes, 15 billion on college scholarships, 1 billion on census problems, 88 billion to move the Public Health Services to a new building, 2.1 billion on public housing, 870 million to fight flu and 400 million for condoms, birth control and fighting HIV and STD’s in other countries. We are talking about selling out our children, grand-children, great-grandchildren..and on and on..to a debt they will never be able pay. We are talking about the same hyperinflation of the great depression…except worse. What do ANY of these have to do with expanding our economy, opening businesses and getting people jobs? And then Obama uses the FEAR FACTOR to try and sell it. This is how you stimulate the economy.

1) Cut taxes and allow people to spend more of their own money on the things they need for their families. Remember…governments do not produce…they only consume.

2) Cut the billions of dollars in foreign aid to countries that not only openly hate us…but use that money to purchase weapons and support terrorists that want to destroy us. Are we stupid or what?

3) Cut the billions of garbage programs out of the federal budget. From millions of dollars to research cow flatulence …… to funds for civil war veterans (there aren’t any!!) We waste billions of dollars instead of only spending what is absolutely necessary. It is time for the government to tighten its belt.

4) Allow individuals to re-finance their homes at a lower interest rate. That will save them 300 or 400 dollars per month. Every month…to use on things they need for their families. That goes right back in the economy. (This was recommended by the Republicans already)

5) A one time $15,000 tax credit for a new primary residence. (Also recommended by the Republicans)

6) Cut off the free-bees in the billions of dollars for those who are here illegally in the United States. Once again confusing compassion with stupidity. We tell them we do not want people to come here illegally in violation of our laws, borders and sovereignty….and then we offer them more free stuff than my son could get as an American citizen and a vet. That is not right. Over 12 million people are here illegally in the United States and most not only do not pay taxes but send the money back to Mexico to support that failing, corrupt, third-world country. In other words the money leaves our system. It does not go into the purchase of cars, food, goods, homes…etc.  It leaves our system. Also the most of the "job" Obama says he is going to create are not careers...they are manual labor jobs such as building roads.  There will be a MASSIVE flood into our country to fill these.  That will not help Americans get jobs...and will once again take more out of the system by sending it out of the country.

7) Allow the system to work itself out. Bad businesses fail. New business rise up with better products and take their place. They rehire employees and it goes on and on. The automotive companies should have been forced into Chapter 11…and forced to reorganize. The CEO’s and board of directors fired. And the union contracts renegotiated. If they don’t know how to be profitable , let them send someone over to Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, or BMW. They are doing great.

Fear Factor you Sir don't understand the basics premice that we are in trouble, there is no easy fix, For to long the regular people of this nation have gone unnoticed and unprotected. Ibelieve by your statement that you are wealthy, and adher to the Republican ideal of save the rich and cast off the poor. it is both irresponsible and Shamefull

Number 4 and 5 I don't agree with. When I refinanced my home, it didn't give me an extra $300 or $400 a month! I wish! And giving $15000 for NEW primary residences would put us right back where part of this started! You get rid of greed first, then we'll talk. Where I live, the construction companies were building nothing but homes over $150,000. For the last several years I asked many people, "who are they building these homes for? Who can afford that home?" I make a decent wage at my job, but I didn't go out and buy a home out of my price range. The bank told me I could buy a $130,000 home, but I bought a $70,000 home instead. So all those people that bought into the greed should go bankrupt in my opinion!

Actually, Searcher5000, I am a working guy that has supported his family doing whatever I had to do over the years. My regular field is law enforcement but I have been active in the ministry...especially with the poor and needy for over 30 yeras. Government is not the solution to the problem. Government is the problem. Jesus (nor the Disciples) never went to Herod or Caesar for handouts. People took care of each other...and that responsibility is a mandate of the church. You are wise not to purchase out of your price range....as was incouraged by our governemnt during the last 20 years. It is amazing how people believe the propaganda that the Republicans are rich. Look at the multi-millionaire Democrats now controlling the Senate and congress. The difference is the democrats just want to give you a fish and make you a dependent ward of the state. The republicans want to teach you to fish on your own.

I like what was said recently on a radio talk show..."of course the Democrats don't care about taxes...they don't pay them anyway". By the way here are just of few of the worth of some of those "poor" democrats". Tom Daschle (South Dakota) 1.2 Million, Hillary Clinton (N.Y.) - 3.8 million, John Kerry (Mass)-164 million, Herb Kohl (Wisc)- 111 million, John (Jay) Rockefeller (W.V.)- 82 million, Diane Fenstein (Calf)-26 million, Frank Walberg (N.J.)-18 million, Edward Kennedy (Mass)- 10 million. And that is just a few. By the way, I know the republicans are not much better.

I love your stuff. Why don't you run for office? I knew it was just a matter of time before Obama began to talk about "Nationalizing" the banking system. Heard him mention how he admired the Swedish banking system...which of course under a socilistic state..owned by the government. And that is what many of our more intellectually deficient citizens have voted for by buying the debts of morgage companies, banks, AIG, Lehmans and other. The government buys the institutions...with no existent funds...putting the next hundred years of our decendents in debt. I thought it was funny that the Communist Party USA has offically endorced Obamas plans. As they explained it, If they wanted to change America into a Communist State they would do exactly what Obama is doing. Communisim is international socialism. Fascism is national socialism. They really are not on opposite sides of the political spectrim. The Dow this morning reacted to the "spending" bill by dropping another 250 points. They understand that not only is this NOT going to work...it literally insures an eventual depression through massive devaluation of the dollar. Next is "Nationalizing" the automotive industry.

What did you say on 02/18/09...next is the nationalizing of the auto industry? You must be a prophet, because it has happened. Next watch for nationalization of the health care industry, energy and maybe the airline industries. Say good-by to America.
