the more i write about the days gone bye the more i want to get back into racing.
see, the problem i think is that there is still a lot of unfinished business, when i retired due to lack of funds, i said that i had enough fun, but to tell you the truth, i still have the burning desire to get out there and give it one more go.
hopefully, it wont take too long to happen.
i have the car in mind already, a ford falcon or if need be even a holden commodore.
the rules for street stock racing require either a falcon or commodore only, and at the moment falcons are regularly winning most of the races so common sense would say go with the winning brand but i think a commodore would fit in just nice with my plans because, if i am not as crash hot as i think i am and i dont win in a falcon, people would say that i cant win with a good car, but if i race a commodore and i lose a lot of races it can always be blamed on the car, see, ive got it both ways really, but i first have to get a car and prepare it to the current regulations, etc.
my biggest problem is that regardless what i have done in the past in life sport or anything else at the end of the day, i know deep down in my heart that the only thing i believe i can do well is drive, a sad indictment on my life but there you have it, thats it, all i can do is drive cars well, i believe.
