It's hard to put scattered thoughts into one coherent blog. It's been a while since I sat down and placed my thoughts on a virtual text box as my fingers dance across my keyboard.
Eew.... my fingers dance across my keyboard?! What was that?!
Anyway, yeah... it's been a while since I've blogged here in Thoughts. I've missed it and it's good to be back, spending my company downtime posting in the forums or just being a Thoughts Ghost, reading blogs or posts, not bothering to express my thoughts about what I've just read.
I liked coming back to this online community though. I guess because there are still so many familiar faces (or maybe avatars or usernames) that are still around.
I was surprised to find that Wayne is no longer the chipmunk (or whatever it was) from Ice Age.
QuickHitGondolin is still a yellow car who made me feel welcome when he recognized me and welcomed me back.
BadlyDrawnStickMan is still a badly drawn stick man. Congratulations on winning the writing contest (I didn't even know there was one).
ScotsLad is still Scottish... I assume... and I guess he's still with forgetmeknot (although I haven't read anything from her lately).
LinusCat is still... well, a cat... BunnyMarie is still being called a rabbit.
Freethinker is still an atheist.
Tmar still believes in Jesus although I'm not sure if he's still predicting the future.
People haven't given up hope in trying to win "Last one to post wins" yet. I guess the thread goes to show that we are all winners... one time or another - some more than the others.
And there are so many more Thoughts regulars that are accommodating citizens of the Thoughts community and also some new avatars and usernames who are on their thousandth posts while I'm still trailing way back at my 100+.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that although this online community maintains the anonymity of its citizens, there are many who you would become familiar with and might even go to the point of respecting because of the views and opinions that the person shares on this site.
So as a Thoughts tourist, I'm glad that I discovered this small community in the vastness that is the World Wide Web.

Now, back to reality... Off work in 20 minutes...
