Well here it is today, Sunday, December 9th and it is in the fifities outside. For us Texans, that is cold. It has been raining all day so far, and will continue throughout the rest of this afternoon . For the past two weeks, the weather has been non-constant, and has changed dramatically from one day to the next. Last Monday it was a high of 82 F. and the next day it was in the fifties, windy, and in some places wet.
This weather is striking us all hard, and only the strong can seem to survive. Most everyone I work with has gotten sick from the dramatic changes in weather patterns here, and in the past few days, most everybody I have seen outside work and in public or private places have gotten sick. What could be going on?
If you ever have been to Texas, you probably have heard some Texans say something about the weather down here. Normally what people hear is along the lines "only in Texas"....which is true.....Texas I know is a state where you can experience all four seasons in one day. It can be chillie in the morning, warm, hot, then start to cool off and be cold at night.......that is the way it was during November. Start the day off by wearing pants, long sleave and a coat......by afternoon you are down to a t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes and maybe outside enjoying the day......and by the time comes for everyone to be off work or so, you are back to pants, long sleave and coat or sweater.
This must work out well for Doctors, there will always be paranoid parents who wish to take their children to the doctors for check ups when they present a small caugh or a sneeze. With this weather, the way it is all the time, always changing, there will always be a reason for those parents to take their children to see the pediatrition.
Well, I think for this entry, I have rambled long enough. Not really anything worth writing about, now my wrists hurt for now reason. Also, I am not typing correctly, so thats why really, but oh well........this was just to get my mind focused on my journal again, so that now I can type with confidence.
Until next time,
J.
