Texas started foremost full virtual public school.Along with a little other states are now giving the students an choice of attending class online. The school explained is greatly puzzled with homeschooling. While the child does stay at home, the parents are not the educators.
The child is still trained by a certified teacher. There are over 500 students joined in the online public school. These students include those who need to work above grade level, below grade level, and those who cannot attend school due to medical cause. The program was designed by the company K12.
K12 is presently accountable for educating over 39,000 students in 17 virtual state run schools. The company is liable for the technology, the curriculum, and the customer service support. In return they accept some of the state funding. The result of virtual schools has been constructive in Texas. The students who attended virtual schools scored above the state necessity on the TAKS.
There is no concert proof to show that the technological erudition is more useful than the classroom setting. No school design really can meet the requires of every child.
One of the new sites which seems to have the potential of changing the way online education works is Vaestro (http://vaestro.com). Many online schools are taking to it since it provides a mechanism to participate in voice discussions as can be seen here (put link). Maybe most schools will later turn to online sites like Vaestro to cater to a worldwide audience.
