 Aftermath
Hi folks, welcome to another entry! :)

This round's sharing is about how sometimes when we are lead by Spirit to do something, the outcome is always amazing, so much so that you can't help praising God for His glory and love on all of us.

I remember before i flew to Sydney a few months back, i had a cell group meeting on the week that i was supposed to fly off. On that week's monday, i got a message from my brother-in-Christ that he was having work issues. Real bad ones. I prayed over the matter and replied him some words of encouragement, knowing that the situation would tide over in time.

On that cell group meeting, his wife had shown up late that evening and came troubled as well, over her work. While she didn't share with me what issues they were, i could see it really upset her alot. That night as i walked home after the meeting, i was prompted by Spirit to pray over their situation. Not that night ... but somehow, when i reach Sydney, pray for them. While i didn't have any other details on where and when to pray, i just knew it was something i had to do and follow.

When i arrived in Sydney, i spent time with my god-ma, friends and most importantly my pastor. Strangely i didn't seem to find a fitting time to bring this matter up, somehow i was waiting for a moment to bring this prayer request up. And then it came during a mid-week service i attended.

We were all gearing up for church camp a week from then and we were prompted to gather and start praying. Many of us had prayers of needs and wants to bring up to God and that night, provided a great opportunity for us to bring prayers to the Lord. There and then, i knew, this was the moment to fulfill my prayer need for the both of them.

As i prayed over their situation, i suddenly felt a tag on my chest. Almost as if, if i wore a string necklace, and if you pull it off me, i felt that. And that was how it felt the moment i prayed for my 2 cell mates! I could also sense that the prayer over their situation was removed and taken from me, with an assurance that it would be taken good care of!

Don't ask me how i know what i know, but I'll tell you, God reached out and took those prayer away to take care of them! I was "blown" away and gave thanks for His love for them. I continued with my other prayers and also continued to pray over my friends and loved ones.

When i got back from my trip, i shared with them about what happened during the trip. Amazingly they told me a while after that night, things started to perk up at work! The husband received a new additional team mate who was a fellow Christian and for years at his company, he never got a chance to work with a Christian teammate at all! For the wife, things at work slowly improved and got better, but she became quite busy as well, but nothing that she can't handle.

It just so amazing how that prayer affected someone almost immediately. It just goes to show how God is able to take our deepest worries and concerns, take a prayer and make miracles when we least expect it!

It's no wonder why the saying goes, we are all here because of someone else's prayer! I know i am because of my elder sisters' and my god-ma's prayers to know the Lord and follow him in my life journey ... certainly the most important thing that happened for me in my adult life so far!

Thank you Father as i end this sharing, I give thanks to your faithful concern and care over my life and the lives that are around me. Father i give thanks to your blessings over all of us, to experience and learn to know your will for us, that is good, pleasent and perfect! (Romans 12:2)
