Our son was home around Christmas and spent time trying to convince us to vote for Obama in the Virginia primary. I must admit, our son's argument in favor of Obama were sound. He doesn't want to continue the Clinton dynasty because Clinton's policies would be drawn from her and Bill's past experiences. Obama, never having been in the spotlight like he is now, does respresent change and a fresh approach that Hillary cannot claim.
There are so many young people on Obama's side that I wonder if there is a generational thing going on. Our primary isn't until the middle of February and all indications are that whoever we vote for won't be worth anything since super Tuesday will more than likely decide the presidential candidates of both party.
I don't like this year's primary schedule at all. My husband believes the primaries should come later in the year and be staggered by time zones, so all votes count.
He has a good idea. So vote no matter who you support.

I don't believe that the Iowa caucus was "earth shattering", as some would have you believe... caucus' are pretty much media hype functions... I personally find all candidates in both parties not to my liking... gonna be a heck of a decision to have to make...

I live in Iowa, and three times as many people showed up for this caucus this year in comparison to 2004. I would definitely call it a big deal.
