| Day 17, 18, 19, 20 |

Yikes! I got a little behind in my blogging. But I have still been going to class faithfully. And I just have 10 days left! I havent yet mentioned, however, that I signed up for 3 more months. So, I keep counting down this 30 days as if there is some kind of end nearing. However, after the 30 days I am going to be going 4 days a week instead of daily.
So, that is that. Now, I could give you an update on how class is going (still hot, still 90 min, still hard), but I'd rather talk about the freak show that is the Fry's grocery store on Indian School and Miller. Please someone who shops there explain to me what is going on with that store. I stopped in there after class yesterday to buy some more water and some facial cleansing cloths (more about the skin issues I have developed from this class later). And just the walk over to the store was trippy. Of course, I am in my yoga clothes and feeling very self-conscious, so I think I have a heightened awareness of everyone around me. Although, yoga clothes or not, I dont know how you could miss the weirdness going on inside and outside that store. And I realize now as I am trying to write about it, that it's too weird to even describe. Every person I passed had something wrong with them. There was the guy who appeared to be leaving the store or maybe he was leaving the front of the store where he very easily could have slept last night. He walked past me like a zombie and I wasn't sure if he was hung over from the night before or heavily medicated because he is a danger to society or what. Now, it is Sat. morning so it is not so uncommon to come across and individual like that , but an entire store full of them? Even the employees were weird. And after going through the store as quickly as possible to avoid too many people seeing me in my yoga clothes (and also this small fear that whatever these people had was contagious), I am at the checkout where I ask for no bag (and this request is just shocking for whatever reason) and this old man with a walker comes up next to me and says "hi". I dont even know at first that he is talking to me becuase I am in the middle of checking out, but he makes sure I know he is talking to me and gets closer and says "hi" again. So, I turn to him and smile and say "hi" back and wonder why this person is talking to me. Then he just turns back the way he came and walks away. And as I am leaving the store, I am picturing the scenes in the scary movies where all the dead people come out of the ground and are reaching up at you and making incomprehensible groaning sounds. And for a moment, I question if this store is like something from a Simpsons episode where the fish have 12 eyes and kids have 2 heads fom the power plant in the town dumping into the lake. And I actually had second thoughts about drinking that water I bought.
