So the PM had a frank discussion with his cabinet about what he was doing wrong. How would they know? They got into cabinet by being yes men & their feet probably haven't touched the ground for years. JWH could have asked his staff but are they going to tell him something he doesn't want to hear & put their jobs on the line, not likely.
So what is a poor PM going to do? Ask the top dogs ASIO, our spynet work, or the ADF or the FP. They are too busy running around trying to keep up with what's happening on the terror network that he & George Bush have been so busy pouring oil on over the last few years. More people are dying of AIDS & other terrible diseases. That's where public funds should be going.
Now our hon PM has put himself on YouTube trying to make brownie points with the kids by giving out green credits. That's all a smoke screen to block out the flake that will come from the invasion of aboriginal townships in the NT. JWH has been in politics for a long time. He has well & truly overstayed his welcome. If he thinks Australians will allow him to bumble around like Ronald Reagan did in the US he is mistaken.
Australians often refer to politicians as 'pollies' meaning. .. They're like parrots & we have millions of parrots in the bush around here. And what do parrots do. They fly around making a lot of noise, or they sit in trees getting drunk from the nectar. Galahs in the wheat belt stuff themselves & when they try to take off they hit trees, barns, fences - I stood with the farming families after harvest having a BBQ. A few beers it's very funny to watch the live entertainment. Better than anything I've ever seen on the movies.
But it's not funny to watch out greedy politicians wasting our taxpayer dollars on inappropriate moves that have brought Australia into disrepute internationally as JWH has done. And when he does shoot thru he can take his cheer squad with him, especially - the AG, Lord Downer & Lord Nelson. They should take a bow, get off the stage & retire into oblivion
