Many of you have already entered the workplace so you have some experience with that environment. If you are scheduled to be at work at 8:00 a.m., what time should you arrive? What should you do before you "clock in"? If you "clock in" before your scheduled time, do you get paid for that time? Remember this is your opinion but it should be school appropriate, in complete sentences and grammatically correct.

You should be there a little before 8, and you should clock in at 8. I don't really know if you get paid extra if you clock in before 8.

I usually go in before my schedualed time, you should never be late but like 5 mininutes early. I really dont think you get paid for clocking in early.

If you are schedule to work at 8:00 a.m., then you should be there about 5 or 10 minutes early. Also, you do get paid if you be there early, or sometimes they won't tell you nothing in jobs but if they do

You should be there before 8 a.m., I believe you get paid for overtime.

I haven't entered the workplace yet, but I think that you should arrive to work about five or ten minutes early. I don’t think that you get paid extra for clocking in early

Well when I worked at sonic I never showed up early except the day I started. But to me when you start working you should be there about 5 or 10 minutes early.

If I had a job where I had to be there at 8 i would show up early.If you clock in early you should get paid for that.

You should arrive at least five minutes early of the time you should be there. I really dont know if you get paid for being there early.

if you have a job that starts at eight then you should get there 5 or 10 minutes early in case you have to do some stuff to get ready. If you clock in early you should get paid for however early you are.

You should ariive at work around 7:30 so you have time to just sit around and drink coffee or something so you wont be in a rush. If you clock in before time you should not get paid for that time unless you are working and not just standing around.

You should arrive at work atleast five minutes before your work day starts. You should also clock in right on time. You should get paid if you check in early, but most businesses won't do that.

I usually arrive 15 minutes before and and wait until 8 to clock in. Most workplaces only pay you for the time you are scheduled.

u should arrive 10minutes before you are suppose to be there. and u should make sure u have everything ready to start your day at work. and u shouldnt get paid bc ur just preparing for your actual work day.

If you are scheled to be at work at 8 you should be there at leas 30 mins before or at least 15 mins before. Before you clock in depending on what type of work you do you should wash your hands or see if anyone needs help before they get off. Some workplaces pay you for clocking in ahead of time and some dont.

When I am schedualed to work I usualy get there 10 to 15 minutes early. I clock in early but at a more official job you should maybe clock in at the time your schedualed to come in. Yes I do get paid when I clock in early.
