Yesterday's blog was not directed at one person. I have deleted several posts since we have been blogging. If it were only one person I would have spoken to them directly. In this situation there were several that needed to be gently reminded what is school appropriate. I really liked your answers. Some of them made me laugh and some of them made me sad. I assure you that anything I do is because I care about you and your well-being. I want you to be happy, healthy and prosperous. As always, I am willing to speak to any of you about your concerns as long as you are polite. Part of growing up is learning to be polite even when you are angry.

i think i understand the question. but correct me if i am wrong. Are you saying something like who has the the biggest impact on todays society? If so, goverment. Basically they choose what they want to hear, and i believe especially in america, the will twist your thoughts any way possible. So for example, The issue of legalizing something. They will do whatever they can, to make you believe one thing, they will lie by omission, or say as little as possible facts, to make you want to agree. People believe the higher power.

While Businesses are made to make a profit and provide services to the general public, they have no responsibility and generally take no initiative to further the development of culture, civil rights, or even simply treating a person as a human being and not a consumer. If you look at today’s business it has become a game to produce the cheapest possible merchandise for the biggest buck – and as a consumer, we are easily influenced into believing this is the right practice.
Thus the Govt steps in. It was created to protect the people, to stand for the people and to put educated people into places of power so that they may make decisions for the not so generally informed populous. (though they are not doing such a good job at the moment.) They have created laws such has minimum wage, a 40 hour work week, no child labor, the army to protect your rights, these are but a few. Not only this, but we pay them for these services. We pay taxes so that they can spend money to better serve the people – we pay for roads to travel on, we pay for merchandise standards and general information about products we consume, and thus it is their responsibility to please their Boss – the average person. (though these days that hardly seems to matter).

Business and Gov't both can improve society. The more money made in the Gov't determines how the society can turn out. The Gov't have the say so in any new businesses in the society and any new laws the gov't have a say so in anything that the society have to do. Business helps alot with the income it will bring to help the society's expenses that is needed around.

I think governement has the greater responsibility for improving a lot of things. The governement has a say so to everything. They decide what they want to hear and what they want them to say about them. They decide really anything.

Government has the greater impact on society because they can increase the prices of everything in our everyday life and may increase the prices on imports from other countries making us have to pay more.

The government has the greater part in improving the society. They have a better chance of helping out with money and since business can only do so much they can't really help out that much.

I think that there are many people who have responsibilities for improving all of these things. For society to improve the people in the community should be able to improve the society. As for the the smarter of the people in the world should take care of improving the business. The government should be taken care of by the President.
