We are in danger of losing our Internet privileges. I have been told that ANY Internet usage must be educational. You will still utilize the blog while I am checking role. After that, you must ask me before you get on the Internet. This includes chat through any program. I wish this wasn’t the case but I have to follow school rules just like you. You will need to bring something to class to do in the event you finish your work early. I did receive a compliment on our blog. They were impressed that you would all write comments that were school appropriate. Thank you for that! Do you think that surfing the Internet is educational? What skills do you think you develop? Remember, I want to hear your opinion even if you don’t agree but keep it polite, respectful and school appropriate. You never cease to amaze me with your intellect and insight. Thank you for the blog. Let’s hope we get to keep it! |

To me internet use is always educational! You always learn new things on the internet wether you try to or not. The internet is full of new things and them taking that privaledge of new learning is not right.

I think that surfing the internet is educational if you make it. As long as you dont get on anything bad it is ok. Like in my opinion Myspace and Youtube is not as bad as everyone makes it. As long as you be careful on what you look at and what you do its ok.

I normally don't use the Internet for educational purposes, but it can be used to help with your education. I just choose not to.
