Homework is not important to me because I think you should do work at school and not at home I dont think they should assign homework.

Homeowrk is sometimes important. It depends on what class its for. Some homework is not really helpful.

I hate homework. I think that we should be able to do the work in class instead of the teacher talking the whole class period, because the students fall asleep anyways. Not all students have time to do homework because they work after school.

I dont thank they should give you homework because your at school for eight hours and after school most people have a job and other things to do than just sit there and do homework.

Yes I think homework is very important, only once in a while. It is important because it is good to learn. Teachers should assign homework once in a while or none at all.

I think classwork is way more important than homework, but I also hate homework!! Because if you think about it if you have it and don't know how to do it then basically you are up a creek with a paddle.

I wasn't going to reply to today's blog until I read some of your blogs and it forced me to form an opinion...
First of all, I think the majority of you need homework because your writing skills are atrocious!!! I admit that even as a teacher I'm not a big fan of homework but I do feel that it is a necessary evil. I was one of those students who never did homework in high school. I was always rushing to get it done in the hallways before the first bell rang or struggling to finish during lunch. When I got to college it bit me in the butt!!! If you plan to further your academic career you need to make sure you are studying outside of school. Not only this, but 50 minutes a day is not enough time to learn everything you need to know.
(OK, here comes the mother speech...) This is truly the best time to learn everything you can, so take advantage of it. High school is your job (and despite what you think right now, it's a pretty cool job!!!) and you need to take full advantage of everything it has to offer you because in a few short years you are going to be responsible for paying for anything you might want to do or receive. I promise that in 10 years you're going to look back on it all and say, "You know, Coach Nunn was right. High school isn't such a bad thing."

Well I think teachers should give you work during class and if you dont finish it in class then you will have home work.

I do not think that homework is important cause i think that the work that we do at school is just enough. An plus if we need help there really isnt anyone there to help you, so you may just confuse your self more!

NO I DON'T THINK THAT HOMEWORK SHOULD BE FOR HOME IT SHOULD ONLY BE FOR SCHOOL ONLY, BECUASE WE LEARN AT SCOOL...AND HOMEWORK REALLY ISN'T IMPORTANT TO ME REALLY...BUT IF I HAVE THEN I HAVE TO DO IT, BUT SURELY DON'T LIKE IT.
