| Revenge |
After we hashed out the meaning of love, we talked about what it takes to get revenge when you've been wronged. We arrived at agreement that true revenge has three characteristics. One, you have to get even in a way that causes at least as much pain and distress as the original wrong did to you. Second, the person you are getting even with has to know that they've b en had and that you were the one who got them. Third, you have to get away with it so that you come to no harm in any way for the deed. It takes a lot of thought to get revenge. So, you better know that it is really a good idea before you blow all the effort setting it up. Most of the time, it just doesn't seem like it is worth all the fuss. It is my experience that most of the people who have wronged me are not worth the effort it takes to clear my throat to get a mouth full of spit.
