 National Wellness
In the future all of the national record systems and health systems will be combined in the government health system.  We will get phone calls from the health police wondering why we are spending so much of our money on beer, or candy, or soda, or fast food.  We'll get calls reminding us to go to the health club more often and from the moral authority questioning our taste in movies and books.
Every day we get closer to this nightmare.  The government gets bigger and more insistent on spreading tentacles into every facet of our lives.  I got a phone call from my health insurance company yesterday to remind me to talk to the nurse in their wellness department about my personal treatment plan.  Where do they get off?  I will discuss that with my doctor, not with some nurse I have never met.
Today, the perfume lady is doing her presentation on work climate.  I am writing this blog on my laptop while she is droning on in the background.  I imagine I'll get a call from the time police wanting to know why I was on my laptop during work time.
     So it goes.

It's worse than that. Confidential medical records will be available to both insurance companies and employers. Everyone's security is threatened by such a Nazi system.
