being sore makes me feel good
it's funny since i know that soreness is typically associated with feeling bad, but right now my whole body aches, and i really feel good about it.  it feels good to know that i'm working harder than i have been.  it feels good to have some sort of direction.  it feels good to pile on weight, get it up, then pile on more weight and get it up again, then do the same thing again.  it feels good to keep making gains, especially when those gains are completely unexpected as you've been stuck for a while.
i have some reason to hope that i'll continue to get stronger and bigger over the next few months, hopefully getting back up to 250 and increasing my working weight to 315 for reps on bench and 405 for reps on squat.  in fact i know it's coming.  it's strange having such certainty when all i've felt for a while is the opposite, but there it is.
man, i am eating like crazy.  i had a pound of flank steak as a snack yesterday, and then i ate a pound of fish and a huge amount of green beans an hour and a half later.  that's awesome.  even this morning i've eaten so much, and it's only 9:30.

i hope this soreness sticks around.  lonliness can make you feel dead, but it's hard to feel dead when every movement makes you wince a little.
