A Scrapper's Paradice. Welcome To My Blog

Finally a place all to myself to ramble about my scrapping addiction. For those who don't know, YES I am addicted to scrapbooking and lately, stamping and card making. It consumes me. Given the silence I could be at my table for hours on end.

Last night my husband and I decide to spend time together. Usually that means watching a movie, playing cards or just doing something together. Last night however we had one of our fun alone but together nights. He sets up my card table in the living room after the kids go to bed. I scrapbook in the living room while he plays video games. We are each doing something we enjoy and technically we ARE spending time together b/c we ARE in the same room. Some may think it's weird but for us, it's something we enjoy. He takes breaks to see what I'm working on and I glance up every so often to see whats going on with his game. All around it just works. Last night I worked on this...

Airplane Cards

Kinda Neat isn't it? They were a blast to make but man, what a PITA it was cutting out those damn airplanes. I wanted a 3D effect. By the time I was done my fingers were black and red from the ink rubbing off. I had alot of fun with them though. Thought of my mom the entire time since she works high in the sky.

My sweet friends got me into the world of cards. Boy oh boy is it a whole other world on top of just scrapbooking.
