 Fate...
If everything that happens, happens for a reason then how far will fate step in to prevent or push a certain event. My ex boyfriend got a girl pregnant on a one night stand... what are the chances of that happening? And recently, my fourth grade boyfriend looked me up. After a very long search, he found me on facebook and we've been talking for the past few weeks... what are the chances of that happening? The Lord has ways of bringing people in and out of our lives, but should we spend our lives relying on fate to bring us to the things that we need the most? Obviously my ex and I were not meant to end up together, which would explain how he managed to find the one girl who was not on birth control, and use the one condom that would end up breaking. But thinking in those terms, does that mean that there was some reason my fourth grade boyfriend was brought back into my life as quikly as my ex was taken from it? Is there some reason that we were meant to talk after ten years of not seeing eachother, and if so... what is that reason? I suppose only time will tell. But, what really shocks me is the timing for everything. Was David (4th grade bf) sent to me as a way to help me get over my ex...even if it's as "just a friend?"

Good points. It could be that too. It may even be that it's nothing to do with you and more to do with them. Are you their fate? Here to teach them something perhaps?

Welcome to thoughts. Personally I believe in fate and destiny. I believe people arrive in our lives at exactly the time they are supposed to. There is a greater power (God, Spirit whatever you want to call it) orchestrating our lives. I always say ... "all is well and as it should be". Enjoy your journey on thoughts. I hold a special place in my heart for your state. Peace

I believe that fate is there for things that you can't change and everything else is up to you but in then end things work out the way they do because of fate. Karma gets in there too.
