I’ve known him for so long
It’s hard for me to talk
I’ve cared for him for so long
It’s probably a shock.
I haven’t seen him in a year
And now i'm beginning to fear
That he’s never coming back
I had him wait for me for to long
I had him stay
But the time has run out
There’s no more time on the clock.
He can’t wait any longer
He’s done trying to grow fonder
And now I know I’m too late
I can no longer save a date
He’s been over me
This much is true
But I still wish
What if I had one more day?
What would I do then?
No, no I can’t think like that
It will just make me hurt more
Deep at my core
He cared for me at one time
I wonder if he still could
No, I said already
I should try to get over him
I would try to get over him
But I can’t
He’s in me some where deep inside
I don’t know why I made him wait
It’s too late
He’s gone
this one might be cheeser than others cuz this poem is about me. in a way. normally i write poems from other experience which i think are better but, this has been on my mind. so hope you liked it.

Very nice poem... It clearly expresses your sorrow, your longing to see and be with him again and your doubting of a decision you made in the pass. Even though its very hard ,you must try to focus on the future and not regret the pass.If this relationship is meant to be it will happen in time.But in the mean while keeping moving forward and I know there will be other opportunities to find that special someone.
