this guy i know
is afraid to show
who he really is
you can see in his eyes
everything he tries to hide
he is haunted inside
and its like im the only one who knows
no one else seems to see
no one else wants to share
he laughs off his sorrows
and says he doesnt care
people say thats him
but they have never seem him cry
for he just hides the truth
thats bottled up inside
i want to be there for him
he says im his only true friend
but still he wont listen
to what i have to say.
he cant see it himself
for who he really is
he just tries to be some one else
but through his dark brown eyes
he cant hide the lies
he says to everyone around
hes had a hard life
he has fallen to the ground
but he picked himself up
and is now made of steel
he wont let anyone in
but slowly i have peeled down his guard
even though its really hard
i know he wants some one to talk to
he wants someone to care
but his whole life was so full of lies
i dont know how he could bare
to live with a family who hides the truth
who steals your stuff
he will soon open up, he says
he will soon peel down his wall
and i will wait
im sure why im here
he needs me to be his friend
i am doing this for him
