 Firefighter training
Last weekend I climbed up sixty feet and chopped a hole in a roof with an axe! It's just part of the process of putting a house fire out safely. I also practiced tying a slipped Portuguese double bowline loop with big fat gloves on, as part of a firefighter training weekend in Ontario. Good stuff to know, I figure.

Wow your Firefighter Training Course sounded very interesting are you trying to go out for the national firefighter job or is it just local?

This is local volunteer stuff. I have no plans whatsoever for national or professional firefighting. I just like playing with the fire department's stuff. ;}
