helping a friend
through a stupid mistake
providing a shoulder
so her heart doesnt break
offering wisdom
i do all that i can
it sucks that it always
comes down to a man
battling demons
one day at a time
forget the tequilla
and just have the lime
i remember the days
when i was in her shoes
i thought life was over
i was just paying dues
its so tough to realize
that hard times arent bad
theyre making you stronger
if they dont make you mad
so creative and smart
your life is still new
theres so many people
who miss and love you
and nobodys judging
the choices you made
though you cant help but feel
like your souls on parade
they dont understand
but they just want to see
your bright smiling face
when your truly happy
so do the right thing
your heart tells you how
and always remember
how your feeling rite now
and ill always be here
through good times and bad
whenever you need me
youre the best friend ive had
