View Blog  Fred Thompson 2008 It has finally happened - we in America have a man running for president we can all be proud of - a man we can all get behind to lead our country through some very trying times ahead of us. I had the honor of meeting Fred Thompson whenhe ran for the US Senate in Tennesse back in 1994.  This is man of his word - a man of honor - a man who has brought himself the hills of Tennessee to the halls of Congress - and is now poised to move into the White House.
