Reading my daily newspaper is a real adventure - it's like when you're a kid at a Saturday afternoon movie, watching the horror show with your eyes (partially) covered. You know what you're going to see is pretty bad, but human perversity being what it is, you are forced to watch.

Anyhow, today's news proved the "inmates taking over the institution" theory. One story reported that a number of states have groups attempting to put up a ballot which will provide human rights for embryos - I can just see prosecutors, defense lawyers, and trial attorneys salivating over that one.
