| From Gitmo to Yucca, etc. |
January 22, 2008: President Obama's first day of Executive Orders included the closing of Guantanamo Bay prison. And of course, the big question is what to do with all those inmates.
The answer is obvious. Since it sure enough appears Yucca Mountain here in our great state of Nevada won't be the national nuclear waste depositry, according to Harry Reid and other Democrat congressional people, something has to be done with that gigantic cave up in Nye County near the Nevada Test Center.

Did I say cave - boy, what a natural place to move the current inabitants of Gitmo. Why, they should feel right at home. And if any terrorist organization makes an attempt to get them out of there, why there is the Test Center, for instance (boom, boom).
And they don't have to worry about being subjected to being tortured to the point of death. Of deafness maybe, since they can be given the Las Vegas treatment - Celine Dion 24/7.
Nevada and Nye County can reap financial awards from the government, and nobody has to worry about nuclear waste transported across highways and our rail system.

While I'm at it, it seems that the Obama administration is calling for a quick release of aid to Gaza residents. It seems that Israel has been pretty slow on allowing aid to groups requesting it from inside Gazxa. Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe if tough times keep up for Gazans, the people will finally wake up to the fact that their elected Hamas government really doesn't give a ding-dong about them.
After all, Hamas claimed today that they achieved a great victory because Israel pulled its forces out of Gaza as a inauguration gift to President Obama. Maybe if Hamas, and the previous big gun- Arafat - had put all the money recievd from international sources to work for the economic and personal welfare of their people, instead of pocketing the cash and calling for the destruction of Israel, the people of Gaza wouldn't be in the stew in which they find themselves.
As I've written before - there are too many fools and rogues on this planet.
