Should you begin studying for the MCAT  before your senior year of college. If so, when should you start. What things did you find helpful in studying for such a long and difficult test?

How about those who have recently finished and can give sage advice to a mom who wants to be able to provide some support. My "wunderkid" is very independent and will only probably use mom as a last resort, but I like to be at least prepared if possible to help.: )
