(posted in Toxic Barbie!) Suicide is an individual and selfish act. Notice how the key to selfish is the word “self”. Attempted suicide can be a cry for help and real suicide is a permanent escape. It is difficult sometimes for family and friends to understand why anyone would ever do such a selfish act. Not everyone can handle the stresses of life; sometimes it takes very little to make someone lose it, while another person is much more resilient and treks on despite what ever happens. Everyone dies, but before that happens, I hope every person gets the most out of life, and that no has to die before their time. There are no easy answers about life and death, it is a journey without a map, and all we have is each other. (posted in Everything's gonna be ok!) Modeling is not about prefect skin or having a perfect body; it is about working your unique qualities and making them shine in the photo shoot. It’s more about body language and how you present yourself versus anything else. True confidence is not about being the hottest girl in the room; it is not something that can be faked. True confidence is about being you, and believing in you, and you loving you. Most runway models are in their twenties, so you have plenty of time to practice and work on modeling and building your portfolio and your showing complete strangers your best qualities.
