wow that does suck. i am sorry to hear your dad made such a bonehead mistake like that. it is the parents responsibility to put their children first. i think some day he will come around and realize what a mistake he has made. i would not bother being the one to go looking for acceptance... unless you are ready to say “i am sorry” first. which it sounds like you are not ready for that. they screwed up, no question about it. however, if you could be the bigger person and say “i am sorry for yelling and saying hurtful things” they would probably also quickly apologize and the wounds could start to be mended. i have done that a lot in my life. i have found it is easier to be the person to apologize first, even if the other party really should be going first. in fact, it is satisfying. maybe you can try it?

yes i would adpot. we actually might adopt a child some day. right now we have our hands full with our wonderful little baby boy jason who is our son by natural birth. but when he gets older i think it would be nice for him to have a brother or sister to play with. adopting would be a nice option for us and for the child we would be helping by giving them a better life. i have not thought about where the child would be from or ethnicity as i dont think they would play a major role one way or the other.

the only thing constant is change. i first heard this in a ziggy marley song and later found out that it was originally from the Greek Philosopher Heraclitus around 500 BC. the cool thing is: its 100% accurate. we are all changing every day. every experience gives us a new perspective of the world. this is one of the great things about life. embrace the changes you are experiencing. i have been through many changes in my life and i am happy to have had them. when i was younger the changes were more like a roller coaster taking me up and down super fast. that was actually a bit rough, but still very good for me. now the changes are more gradual and generally moving in a positive direction. ture friends are few and far between, but when you find one you will know.

good stuff. when i started out in college i was going for psychology i think. i quickly changed to computer progamming, only to finally get established in business finance. i studied that so i could make all of my own investments. that was interesting to me. enjoy college for what it is - a learning experience and a foundation for your career (with a little bit pf partying thrown in now and then - just don't over due that part). i think you made a great choice by picking a subject that you find interesting. have fun!

miss jones... you are right on point. i am a new father of a 5 month old baby boy named jason. i have been talking to him about his responsibility in this world since he was in my wife's belly. i explain to him that we are so very fortunate to live in the united states, and to live in the home that we do. i explain to him that there are so many people in the world with so much less, and that it his responsibility to help these people out. i know he may not understand the words just yet, but i believe he does understand the meaning. my mother talked to me like this when i was in her belly, and while i was growing up. today as a 30 year young man, i very much believe it is my responsibility to make a difference in this world. by teaching our children the more important things in life, we can begin the change the world. this was an excellent post and thank you for adding some fuel to my already blazing fire.

The best exterior house color to sell your home is on 2007-07-18 13:35:50 |

interesting. our old house was yellow. we did not sell it though. we rent it out - that covers the mortgage and the house keeps appreciating over time :)
regarding my dream house, in some ways i live in it now. we are lucky to have the house we do. its on a lake, with a pool and all kinds of cool stuff, so i have no complaints about that. the only thing i would like different would be a little more space for family and friends to stay over. if we ever do move it will primarily be for more room.

i agree 100% that we (not only americans but all human beings) have a responsibility to each other, our planet and our future generations. however, each individual is in their own place and time, and not everyone is ready to see this yet. forthoughts… you are able to do much more good for others by understanding that a persons hangover is what is real in their world at the moment. it is not as trivial as you think it is… not for them anyway. they must go through this stage in order to be ready for the next. its just my opinion. also, you might want to try typing in all lowercase as opposed to ALL CAPS. it is much easier to read.

i think we should always focus on the positive in life and not the negatives. we all make mistakes. this is human nature. what seperates us is how we look at them. just focus on the positive things. if she broke it... well... at least she did not get hurt....
if she broke it and got hurt... at least she did not break her arm.
in other words, it could alwasy be worse. focus on the positive, like you still get to spend time togter. encourage her with support and love. this is what i am going to do as a new father myself. i think this is important in life in gerenal

4th of July is one of the big events of the year. Just make sure you get to a good location. The city or town you live in will probably have at least 1 large fireworks show for the public, if not more. These are usually good parties and fireworks shows. sometimes the firewords last 30 minutes. last year my family had a huge 4th of july party when we moved into our new house. we must have had close to 100 people here. this year, we are taking it easy. we live hear disney word and can see the disney firworks from our back yard, so it should be a nice relaxing night. i will try to remember to get some photos and video for you everyone here. have a happy 4th!!!

i think watching everything from the war would be much worse beacuse 1. they are so many more deaths and 2. there are so many innocent deaths of women and children and even men not involved in the war.
crate, are you planning on asking some happy questions at all? so far, most all of the questions seem so dark.

hi there. it was only a few days ago that you were saying that you were going to go a whole week without a drink. now here we are a few days later: you got really drunk again and ARRESTED. i think you need to face the truth. it really sounds like you do have a drinking probelm. go get help. you can do this now. it is better to get help now, than in another year, or two, or five or ten. the longer you wait, the worse it will get and the more difficult as well. please do yourself a favor and admit to yourself you have a probelm. only then can you overcome it.

there is an unclear chatter coming from the crowd that slowly gets louder... and louder... until it develops into an unmistakable chant: WE WANT MORE... WE WANT MORE... WE WANT MORE...
sorry if my writing is not up to par, but you are so very good that this was my best attempt to say what i great job you do and how you move people with your words. i can't wait to read what you write next...
*and sorry for the tripple post*

i agree - you did the right thing. you must think of your son first so i applaud you in your decision. it takes a big person to do that. i was born in va but moved to fl when i was 3 so i don't remember it much. i am sure you will find some good friends there in time.

p.s. love the name ConsistentlyRandom
it reminds me of a ziggy marley line "the only thing constant is change"
which was originally written by the ancient greek philosopher Heraclitus

i have been using the site a few months now. i like that with my photos, i am able to upload them and organize them into categories. i currently have categories for home photos, family photos, and vacation photos. they are going to be offering this category support for all of the sites aspects pretty soon.
