Why?????????????

It seems that everyone has someone but me. Im 16 years old and never dated how sad is that? I mean being single sucks. I want to find a girl that understands me and want try to force me to change. Someone who want care that I dont talk a lot or want freak out about my intrests. Who want care that im Wiccan. Most of the time I dont think there is someone out there for me, that maybe I will always be lonely. How sad. I want someone who is gothic or emo someone who shares the same intrest as me someone who is understanding. Willing to listen to me when I need someone to talk to. Maybe my expectations are to high. Maybe I should just give up and be a hermit. I want someone to, I want a relationship. But So far it doesnt seem like thats going to happen any time soon. Tell me your thoughts on being single. By the way im a Lesbian.

Don't give up on love. Being single sucks, I agree. But it won't be like that forever. You'll find someone. Believe me, I've tried the whole, looking for love, but love finds you, not vice versa. There is someone out there for you, just don't give up.

you are still young, so what if all your friends are dating? you will find someone, when the time is right - promise you.
dont forget, yes, gentle nod, understand about wanting to be with someone, have someone to hold you, comfort you and even love you, but with that, therecan also be much heartache - so, in some ways it is nice to be single..
..but if the right man comes along? who knows

but heck babe, you are not expecting too much, we should have values, as said, you'll suddenly bump into a soulmate if that is your destiny - and, in my heart, i have a feeling, i think you will, just not yet

I know this is going to hurt you, Jasmine16, but I'm going to say it anyway as one person to another. I'm not making enemies here. This is my opinion.

I don't think it's right that you're a lesbian. You'll be scaring a lot of straight girls away, especially if they already know you're a lesbian. Some think being a homosexual is contagious.

Being single is not a bad thing. It depends on your perspective. Right now you find it painful to be single. But it can also be painful and annoying when you get involved in a relationship. You'll wish you never had one. It will be like a stain that never gets washed off.

If you've read my blog, you'll know that I'm not an expert on this, but I'm talking from experience in rejection.

Maybe you're not. Just a thought. And I don't think Subtomato means that being lesbian is contagious like a disease-- just that social factors and circumstances can influence a person's mentality about their sexuality. Like, if someone you know has been struggling, and all of a sudden they say they're lesbian and that seems to fix all their problems, then you might decide to give it a try too and see if it works.
Just some thoughts...and no, I'm not a gay/lesbian-hater or anything.
