Really beautiful! Oil pastels are always so much fun. What kind of felt did you use? I've worked on vinal before (with oil) and I've found it gives it a unique feel. Always on the lookout for other surfaces to use!
Very nice though! Almost a "Starry Night" feel to it

i like them!
i like the highlights on the water in the first one...
and the figures are nice in the second...
i guess i know who you like!
i think there's some munch in there too.
anyway... the only thing i can say besides that they are beautiful is to think about the overall composition... the more it is inclusive of the viewer, the greater the attraction to the image, if you know what i mean. like in the first one you have those great diagonals...

yes, and there is a 'starry night' feel to those. is that what you were trying to model after????

QT- come to think of it, it does have a "starry night" feel to it. I dunno. I've been drawing like this even before I was aware of Van Gogh and his works. :)
