Sam, is not a person, shes my car, my 1994 Sunbird. I bought her two years ago, June 20th 2005. I had just graduated high school, worked all senior year to buy a car. I found her and fell in love with her. I did buy her with my own money, my parents didnt put any in on it.
I was proud of my purchase, drove her everywhere, mainly to work and back, occasionaly, to my friends house or the mall.
Right after I got her, the air went out, I went to Mikes Service Center, here in Tallmadge to take care of it. So began my long history at Mikes. After my air went out, i didnt have very many problems, not until Jan of 06 when I went back to school, college. My ex and me were going home, when I got a flat tire. He changed my tire and then I took it to Mikes and they patched my tire. Yea soon after that my exhaust started acting up, not good, so Kenny, my mechanic/hero told me hed put a good word in for me and get his friend who works at a muffler shop, I got it fixed, and the car sounded better, That was in March of 2006. Soon after that, I started dating Paul, my ex now but yea I found out that my tires were the WRONG size, one side was 15 inch the other 14 inch, bad right? I got that fixed in i think August because I had to go to the akron zoo with Pauls family, and i needed to get it fixed. Yea well soon after that my radiator started acting up. I lost fluid a whole lot. That meant last winter anytime I needed heat i had to put coolant in the car, BEFORE using the heat. If not the car would smoke and overheat. All this whole time I was going to Mikes for fluid and Mike the great and awesome mechanic :) told me to get that radiator fixed ASAP! At the time I was working at McDonalds making minimum 15 hours MAX a week, and i couldnt. After I got a temp job at HR Block I did get it fixed for a whopping 300 dollars. But I did pay it over six months. Not many problems after that til right before she died. I started losing power steering fluid, alot of it, and before that could be fixed she died. August 17 2007, she died, in the Giant Eagle parking lot.
But yea she had been through alot, I hauled stuff for people, when Heather was moving I had a full sized box spring mattress on the roof, a china cabinet in the backseat and tons of stuff in the trunk. We made three trips with my car three different times with tons of stuff. i also somehow fit a 350 pound guy, his gf who sat on his lap her head hanging out the window and my friend who is close to 250 in the backseat and my ex, when we were dating, i always had more people than i should in the car. Plus I drove about 20 miles a day, 4 days a week, to pauls house school,. back to pauls house home and then to work. It wasnt good for a car going on 100,000 miles. I loved that car until the end...
Sam got me through college my jobs, until I got the one I had now. The day i got out of training, at my current job which meant it was a permanent job, that was the day she gave up. She realized that I was ready to move on and she gave up. I loved that car til the end.
Other than the carting people around, my car was home to the best times and the worst times in my life. Me and Paul shared our first kiss by my car. Me and the guy before him after he returned from Louisiana hugged in front of my car after he had been gone five weeks, That guy also, when he hit me one of the worst times was in my car. Everything was with my car. That car was my life, and seriously theres alot of memories in that car. My cell phone fell in a frosty in my car, not my fault that was someone elses! I learned lots of stuff with that car. I dukes of hazzard hood slid with a couple friends, sat on the car and watched people drive by. Paul loved to kiss me every morning at school, when our favorite teacher walked by my car.
Tomorrow she is getting sold for parts, I will miss her, but I will never forget her, she's my 1st car and will always have a special place in my heart.
After I post this I am going to upload a couple videos of Sam, watch them please, theres one from when I had her and she ran, my brother directed and narrated it and the other he narrated i edited it...So just check them out and leave a comment please :)

I had a pink and white bike in college with a basket, I never had to lock it, no one would ever want it and everyone knew it was mine, but I loved it and I named pinky, so I know how you feel about sam
