| The Beginning of the Brazil Idea

Back in the beginning of March I learned of New Life Bible Camp taking a ministry team and building team going to Brazil for a little over two weeks. I leaned over to my wife in church and said,"I am going to Brazil", and chuckled. There was no possible way that I could go to Brazil for that long of a time.
On April 26th, while at New Life for a father daughter campout, Chris Surbaugh came up to see how thing were going on Saturday evening. My first thought was ... "Why did you come up here?" As we began to talk, Chris informed me that I could go to Brazil for a week! WOW ... I told him that I might be interested in that. I knew I would have to talk with Tammy first though.
I went home and waited a day due to a busy schedule to talk to Tammy. As we began to talk, she was very open to me going for a week. Now we were going to begin the process of looking into this trip and its details.
The following Wednesday evening I had the priviledge of talking with Ron Weber as to the needs there and if I could fit in. Well, he was thrilled and has continued to even today about what I could do there.
This was the last puzzel piece as long as New Life was open to me joining the. I wrote to Chris and he was thrilled to have me join the team.
Now I have several tasks that the ministry team could give me as well as the building team.
