| Celtics, Lakers in FInals |

On Friday, the Celtics won game 6 in Detroit to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1986. The previous day saw the Lakers beat the Spurs and they will be the Celtics opponent. This series should be very entertaining.
Doc Rivers will have to figure out a few matchups, but the Celtics should be able to win the series in 6 or 7 games. Pierce will be on Kobe, Rajon on Fisher, but after that it is anyone's guess. I could see Garnett on Gasol, Perkins on Radmonovic and Allen on the much bigger Odom. That is the only way I could see the Celtics struggling. Odom cannot keep up with Allen and he will not want to contest his threes. However, Allen will need to stay with him on defense when he pulls up with 18 foot shots. Kobe is Kobe. He is going to score 35 points, there's nothing you can do about it. The Celtics need to limit everyone else, and if they do that, it will be a fairly easy series. I could see the Lakers stealing a game in Boston, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Celtics won both. Los Angeles will most likely take 2 of 3 when they head to the Staples Center.
The Celtics are not going to sweep this series. They are going to need to win a road game or two. There is no way the Lakers will lose all 3 in LA, and probably not even 2 of them. We need to take care of home court and try to give ourselves a chance to win in the fourth quarter in LA.
My prediction Celtics win in 6, 4-2.
