 What is this?
I hear the water drip,
getting slower,
in tune with my heartbeat,
as I’m laying here
ignoring the pounding on the door.

Can you hear me cry?

I wonder,
what is this?
I breathe
I see
I smell
I taste
yet I’m not alive.
But maybe life isn't for everyone.

Ah you need to understand. Where are YOU! You are not your body, or what you do. As Deepak Chopra would say, you are the space between the thoughts. You need to connect with your soul. Just by writing you are beginning to. But look up some Chopra. Seven spiritual laws of success. hmmm changes the way you feel.

A great writer once said something like this, "You are not a body with a soul. You are a soul. You have a body."
Your senses are not what make you alive.
Your soul makes you alive.

Long after the thrill of livin is gone
Say uh, oh yeah life goes on
Long after the thrill of livin is gone. They walk on.
