This feeling chases away my fears
and i"m bold again
where my fears are secondary
and I can laugh endlessly at nothing.

I've found a new addiction
that makes me feel safe
in my own skin,
my own mind,
in being me.

Don't tell me about its danger
because i don't care.
i'm floating
with my feet on the ground.

So let me enjoy this temporary freedom
and this pleasant illusion
with it's hysterical hallucinations
and it's ability to dwarf my demons
so i can point and laugh at them
as they do me.
